Winds of Change

December 10, 2009

Fruits of the Bloom is getting some new branches of change!

Continuity gives us roots; change gives us branches, letting us stretch and grow and reach new heights.  ~Pauline R. Kezer

I knew even before we opened Fruits of the Bloom that I wanted it to be a vehicle of artistic and creative growth for Caitlin and me.  I’m not one of those people who subscribes to the notion of artists being staid creatures restricted to a prescribed style.  What is a rut at any rate, but a smaller grave?  Art and expression should be the antithesis of a bound rootstock; sparks of illumination stretching and shooting forth into branches of aspirations enabling both artist and creation to soar to new heights.

Happily we sail the friendly seas of inspiration, propelled by winds of change, our course set on new ventures.  Here are a few things on the horizon for Fruits of the Bloom:

  • An entirely new product line inspired by my Grandfather.  Stay tuned for more information soon!
  • Continued production of baby and little girl jewelry lines.
  • New logos and blog improvements.  This will necessitate an initial reduction of days I post in an effort to upgrade content and site usability.  Once improvements are initiated, posts will return to the normal schedule of 5 to 6 days a week.  ;o)
  • Scaling back on hair accessory production.  We’re gauging response to Fruits of the Bloom’s hair accessory line over the next months to assess the viability of continuing our hair bow creations.

In the spirit of Fruits of the Bloom’s roots we’re offering you, Our Bloomin’ Readers, the opportunity to take advantage of a terrific SALE! Through Sunday, December 13th, buy any 2 products and get ONE FREE!!!  Please make note of the name of the listing of your 3rd item and write it in “Notes to Seller” at checkout.  Third item is free and ships entirely free!

Please click on the above image to be redirected to Fruits of the Bloom’s Etsy Store and enjoy our sale!  We are proud to continue offering you custom hair accessories to match your favorite outfits, we’re only an Etsy conversation, e-mail, or call away!

It is our fondest wish that you, Our Dear Bloomin’ Readers, follow us on the winds of change.  We are deeply grateful to all who read our blog and enjoy our handmade creations–we value your feedback and friendship beyond anything else!  Feel free to share your thoughts on our changes as we grow, we are listening to YOU!

Branching Out in New Directions while Holding Steady to Our Roots,

Loren & Caitlin

Hi Heather! Thanks for the compliments on the writing! Yes, some of my friends (and people I stalk) have suggested that I write! I do enjoy it, and who knows…maybe I’ll be the next Perez Hilton…NOT! Ha!

We’re excited about the changes, and hope everyone else is just as thrilled when they see the new fruits of our labors! Thanks for the comment, Heather!

Hey Diane! Thanks for the compliment on my writing! You know you have a fan in Alabama, and I couldn’t be more pleased than to think you enjoy any of our little creations! You’re so sweet!

Grandpa inspired some memory boxes, more on that story in a later post! I’m working on our new line as we speak! Thanks so much for keeping an eye on our progress…it warms my heart.

      Loren
